Product Details: The ASI662MC utilizes the latest Sony IMX662 sensor technology, offering significantly reduced readout noise compared to previous sensors. It also features an exceptionally large full well capacity, three times that of the IMX462MC, minimizing overexposure issues and enabling longer exposures. In low-light conditions, it excels at capturing clear images of celestial objects.
STARVIS 2: Equipped with Sony's latest IMX662 sensor and STARVIS 2 technology, the ASI662MC enhances sensitivity to red and near-infrared light while eliminating amp glow. Its dark current noise is several times lower than that of the ASI174MC.
USB 3.0 & 256MB DDR3 Memory: The camera supports USB 3.0 for fast data transmission and includes a built-in 256MB DDR3 cache, ensuring stable performance during long exposures and reducing glow effects.
Upgraded Model: As an upgrade from the ASI462MC, the ASI662MC offers a larger full well depth and eliminates amp glow, even at high exposure and gain settings.
Camera Curve: Low Read Noise, High Dynamic Range: The ASI662MC exhibits very low readout noise, enhancing its dynamic range particularly at high gain settings using the built-in HCG mode.
