William Optics ZenithStar 66mm SD APO Refractor with 0.8x Field Flattener/Reducer – Pre-Owned

The William Optics ZenithStar 66mm SD is a compact, high-quality apochromatic refractor designed for wide-field astrophotography and visual observing. Featuring a 66mm fully multi-coated SD doublet objective and a fast f/5.9 focal ratio, this telescope delivers sharp, high-contrast views in a lightweight and portable package.

This pre-owned telescope includes a William Optics 0.8x Field Flattener/Reducer, making it an excellent choice for wide-field deep-sky astrophotography. The reducer brings the effective focal length down from 388mm to approximately 310mm (f/4.7), allowing for wider fields of view and shorter exposures. The field-flattening optics help improve star shapes toward the edges of the imaging field.

The ZenithStar 66 SD features a smooth dual-speed 1:10 Crayford focuser with a 360-degree rotatable design for precise focusing and convenient camera positioning. Its retractable dew shield and compact optical tube make it an excellent portable imaging telescope or travel refractor.
