Sales beyond normal hours

A New Late-Night Sales Peak

The event created a major sales spike after Moongoat's normal closing time. The late-night activity rose to approximately the same level as one of the cafe's busiest daytime hours.

OC Cosmic Nights can turn otherwise unavailable operating hours into a new revenue opportunity.

Frequently Asked Questions

Everything you need to know before bringing an OC Cosmic Night to your venue.

What happens if the weather is cloudy?+

If clouds or unsafe weather prevent worthwhile viewing, we will coordinate a new date at no additional rescheduling charge.

How much outdoor space is required?+

A level outdoor area of approximately 10 by 10 feet is sufficient for a standard setup. We will review the location with you before confirming the event.

Does the venue need to be completely dark?+

No. Strong outdoor lights near the telescopes should ideally be turned off or dimmed, but lower-level ambient lighting and moody string lights are generally fine.

Can guests have food or drinks near the telescopes?+

Yes. Guests can enjoy food and drinks during the event while following the venue’s normal service and safety rules.

How many guests can participate?+

There is no fixed event attendance limit. Guests rotate through the telescope viewing line throughout the event, subject to the venue’s occupancy limits.

Are You + the Moon portraits included in the hosting fee?+

Yes. Offering the portrait experience does not add to the venue’s hosting fee. Guests may purchase their individual instant portraits separately.

What does the venue need to promote?+

We provide the event flyer and promotional information. Instagram posts are highly recommended, along with email or in-store promotion when available.

How far in advance should a date be reserved?+

Please reserve the event at least two weeks in advance so there is enough time for scheduling and effective marketing.
