Overview

This Guide kit is 100% compatible with Shelyak's guide optical kit (ES0030).

This guide kit upgrades the MLAstro SHG Housing into a fully-featured, high-resolution nighttime stellar spectrograph. You have the option to purchase it with or without optics. It is fully compatible with Shelyak’s optical guide kit.

The options detailed are as follows:

  1. Guide kit body only: 1x guide cube + 1 x guide adapter + 1 x mirror support (3D printed) + 1 x optics retainer (3D printed).

  2. Guide kit body + Optical guide kit: 1x guide cube + 1 x guide adapter + 1 x mirror support (3D printed) + 1 x optics retainer (3D printed) + 2 x 12.7mm 50mmFL doublets + 1x spacer ring (3D printed) + 1x 15x15x3mm mirror

All options come with appropriately sized screws, allowing you to easily assemble the guide kit yourself.

Please note that this guide kit requires either a Helical focuser or a 1.25" to T2 adapter to attach the guide camera into it and function normally. We provide both of those in the Accessories categories. You can go check them out.
