The 0.6x reducer is designed to lower the focal ratio of the Askar 103APO to F4 while also featuring field flattening capabilities. The Askar 103APO incorporates a detachable tube design, allowing the removal of the rear part when using the 0.6x reducer. This adjustment ensures that the telescope attains the required length to achieve an F4 focal ratio (refer to the image below for installation instructions).
Utilizing a quadruplet design, the 0.6x reducer supports a 44mm full-frame image circle and weighs a total of 0.98kg. The standard back focus from the M48 thread is 55mm, and the front thread is M84. For convenient connectivity, the reducer is equipped with three adapter sizes: M68, M54x0.75, and M48x0.75 at the camera end. Additionally, it features a built-in M48*0.75 2-inch filter thread for direct filter installation. The overall CNC machined construction, coupled with threaded metal caps at both ends, prevents dust accumulation when not in use.
